Circa 1867. Jacob Kintner opened this three-story brick building for hotel guests in 1873, and the charming home was host to many guests until JacobÆs daughter closed the inn in 1922. After years of decline, the present owners have restored Kintner House to its former glory. Some of the original floors, discovered under layers of carpet, vinyl and plywood, have been restored. Each of the uniquely decorated guest rooms features Victorian-style furnishings and wallpapers, and each room bears the name of a prominent Corydon resident or event in the town's history.Publicity and Awards: Indianapolis Star.Location: Downtown.
