“This elegant house on the cliffs overlooking Dubuque is a wonderful weekend retreat. Susan and Chuck are the most friendly and accommodating hosts and make you feel right at home. Breakfast is fabulous and beautifully served at the huge dining room table. We look forward to our stay there every year.”

“Two days and nights with friends in this glorious old home was a definitely the way to shrug off the blahs of winter. The food was amazing and the hosts could not have been more cordial. The fixtures were vintage, unique, beautiful and yet we had a wifi connection. The home was immaculately clean and the type of place that made history come alive. The Handcock house is a beautiful page from yesteryear.”
