“The Hampton Lake inn is awesome. Paula and Kim are overly accomadating and extremely friendly. The house is wonderful and relaxing. A gorgeous view. It feels like your staying with friends! I highly recommend the Hampton inn.”

“Several weeks ago I left New Jersey in route to Cape Coral,Florida on my bicycle. By the time I arrived at the Hampton Lake B&B in Starke, Fl I had enough of the cookie cutter hotel stops. Night after night of the cramped accomodations and cold barren rooms made me more than a little road weary. WhenI pulled off the highway and made my way down the long drive to the property which literally sits right on Hampton Lake it all melted away. Oh, and if I never made it inside the house I would have been perfectly happy. What a beautiful property...the lake is so peaceful, it is just a little piece of heaven. Anyway, I did make it inside and found it to be just like home only nicer. The owner Paula instantly made me feel like she was welcoming me home as opposed to welcoming me in to her home. For as long as I was there I was made to feel like anything and everything was mine to use or experience. I should also mention that Paula has an extraordinary knack for detail. I don't know how she thinks of everything but I wasn't lacking anything while I was there. Earlier I mentioned that I had bicycled to the property...well, I wasn't about to get back on my bicycle to go look for a place to eat. No worries Paula took care of that issue for me as well. In hindsight I had two regrets staying here. First, that I used this experience as a stopover and secondly, I was there only one night. I'm not sure when I will get back there but next time it will be my destination and it definitely won't be for one or two nights.”
