After acquiring the property in 1995, the current innkeepers used a bit of imagination to artistically recreate the 16,000 square foot structure. Lofty 12-foot-high tin ceilings may be the only consistent design feature of four unique guest rooms including the Sun Shower Room decorated in bright yellows and blues, the Red Clay Room starring a hand-painted claw-foot tub, the Aubergine Room with a Mediterranean ambiance, and the Grotto Room showcasing masculine earth tones. Host a raucous family reunion in the large gymnasium or a quiet bridal shower on the outdoor grotto. Sip a glass of wine or cold brew from the ever-growing wine cellar, challenge a friend to billiards in the game room, or settle in front of the intricate fireplace for an evening of conversation.
