Description

Nestled inside forest walls of native oak and Floridian cypress trees is a romantic and peaceful getaway with two uniquely decorated guest rooms that offer privacy and comfort. You'll enjoy the sunlight that streams through two skylights set into the 12-foot vaulted ceilings of the Victorian-style Leona Jo's Room which boasts a black iron king-size bed, oversize tub, and walk-in closet. Dewey's Outpost presents the best of the old west with a handcrafted log queen-size bed and western décor including a full-size horse mural; a whirlpool tub and 32" plasma television modernizes the rustic space. The loft is a cozy spot to enjoy coffee or tea before the rest of the world wakes up. Breakfast is served every morning and a delectable five-course dinner is available by reservation on Friday and Saturday evenings. Choose your getaway dates and then settle in and let the sounds of the fountain sooth your senses as you laze in an Adirondack chair by the koi pond.Location: Country.

Reviews

“We have been to well over 20 B&B's all over the country and this is by far the most beautiful one we have ever stayed. The beautiful pictures of the grounds on the web site do it no justice and the house and rooms are just as wonderful. Cindy and Jim could not have been more accomodating and anticipated needs we didn't even know we had. If you are looking for a touristy stay with lots of gift shops and activities, this is probably not for you. If you want a relaxing, romantic, private getaway where you are thoroughly spoiled, this is the place. All for little more than it costs to stay at the place where they "leave the light on for you". Jim & Cindy........expect us back soon.....”

“We first stayed at Mary Helen's in July 2011 and have returned 11 times. Jim and Cindy have mastered the craft/art of innkeeping and leave no stone unturned in providing for their guests.Their attention to detail is unequaled, the breakfasts are fabulous ,and the weekend fine dining is unparalleled in the B&B world. The rooms are well-appointed and, regardless of season, the grounds are gorgeously groomed, making this a slice of heaven.”

“I have to say Bob and Judy Parsons said it very well. Mary Helens is so beautiful. Get away from the busy life and come sit on the front porch. The views are hard to put into words! I have had dinner here and I have to say it is a special night! The food is wonderful!”
