Description

Or inside, tickle the ivories on the baby grand piano in the music parlor or try your luck at a game in the billiards room; both rooms have a romantic fireplace for chilly evenings. You can also explore the area on a complimentary bicycle or play a rousing game of croquet on the manicured lawn. Halfway between Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio, this bed and breakfast is near wineries and the Kentucky Speedway. “Riverside is a beautiful Inn. The grounds feature many areas for relaxation, gatherings and wildlife viewing. You can enjoy your first class breakfast while gazing out onto the Ohio river or watching gold finches and wrens at the feeders. The Inn Keepers are gracious hosts and stewards of the historic home. The Inn has been completely restored and the guest rooms are luxurious and comfortable. We will definitely return! A true gem! We have stayed at several B & B's and this is our favorite.”

“We had the most amazing time at the Riverside B & B! The food was wonderful, we have never met nicer inn keepers than Kurt and Kathy!! Our favorite parts include the beautiful huge gazebo with all the kitchen amenities, our huge bathroom in our bedroom, and the firepit for roasting marshmallows. I had a hurt knee and the inn keepers accommodated us and switched our room to a downstairs one. We felt so at home and had a wonderful time getting to know the other guests and playing billiards in the billiards room!!! Do try the fried chicken at the local, IGA, it's amazing!!! The view cannot be beat from the back porch overlooking the river! Mature trees line the property and are all labeled so that you can appreciate how many different species are on the property!! We would stay here over and over again!!!”

Being located alongside the Ohio River, there is a relaxing energy similar to what one experiences at the ocean. A calm tranquility takes over your body.
