Description

Circa 1918. Everyone wants to go to The Principal's Office Suite at this historic brick school in Bisbee, Arizona. Study the maps in The Geography Room, work on your penmanship in The Writing Room, or marvel at the artifacts in The History Room. Cafeteria food was never as good as the home-cooked breakfast you'll receive each morning. The entire inn is accessible with a handicap ramp to the second floor. Sit on the patio shaded by a mammoth oak tree. Relax on the quiet residential street and enjoy views of the Mule Mountains from the balcony. Challenge yourself to climb 1,000 steps during the Bisbee 1000 each October. You can don a helmet with a headlamp and hop on the mine train to explore the Queen Mine or test your skills on the fifth-longest hole in the country, a Par 6 at Turquoise Valley Golf. The School House Inn has received a Fodor's Choice award for many years.Location: Country.
