Reviews

“The gorgeous Casitas offer magical gardens and valley views that soaked us in beauty and some kind of timelessness that resulted in us not being able to move from our view patio for 4 hours the second morning of our stay. Of course, that was helped by being brought wonderful coffee and tea and then a perfect soufflé, scones and more. Pat and Tony chose a great selection of activities for us (at our request) and seemed to point us to the best of the best. We were surprised at the plethora of both adventure activities and wineries. We lunched under a rose arbor at one of the wineries, and then enjoyed a fabulous dune safari with “Larry and his military Hummer”. The white sandy dunes, deep blue sea and sky, white surf and hazy blue ridgelines somehow soothed the soul from the Hummer in spite of pitching blindly down 70-foot high dunes or taking others sideways. We followed that extravaganza with a Melodrama in Oceano. Then home to the soft sheets and miraculous pillows of the magnificent bed in our Casita. We recommend a three-night stay since we left far too soon.”

“We had a great stay at the Casitas. Tony and Pat made us feel welcome and the room was well appointed and welcoming. I loved the fireplace and it was set for us both days of our stay. The grounds around the Inn’s 7 acres are exceptionally landscaped with gorgeous gardens, jacaranda trees, apricot trees and water features. The inner courtyard was ablaze with roses and wisteria in the middle of July while the outer courtyard featured bougainvillea and a star-shaped fountain. The bed was wonderful and I didn’t even need the pillow I brought – the pillows and all the lush bedding was far more comfortable than mine. There were swallows and quail and many other birds - fabulous views.”
