Circa 1842. Luxurious accommodations await your arrival at Overlook Farm and offer you an incomparable experience of country living. Cedarcrest Manor is set in a cluster of towering cedars and tucked away just up the hill from the town of Clarksville. Built in 1842 by Captain Benjamin Clifford, a prominent riverboat captain, Cedarcrest began its life as a plantation home, and quickly became the archetype for a number of houses built in the Mississippi River Valley. It was acquired and renovated in 2005 by Nathalie Pettus, and today, its neoclassic interior, Romanesque pool, and stunning views of the Mississippi offer peace, quiet and a restful place to relax and recharge. Rich with amenities, this enchanting Missouri inn is adorned with antiques and features a fireplace in every room. You can also book a room at any of the other four luxurious inns, as of Overlook Farm. Check-in for each of the inns is located at the main office.Location: Country.

Reviews

“We have been staying at B&Bs all over the country throughout our 20 year marriage, and have to say that we are so lucky that Overlook Farm is about an hour away from home! Not only is the inn beautifully appointed and top notch, but "The Station" restaurant is OUTSTANDING! Cedarcrest Manor (and/or its "sister" inn Rackheath) plus The Station makes for the perfect get away!”

“Cedarcrest Manor at Overlook Farm is one of the most beautiful inns you'll ever visit (Rackheath House is just as wonderful). The rooms are spectacular and romantic. Every touch you can imagine has been added. The deck, the pool and grounds are really magnificent. The attentive service is what you'd expect from a 5-star rated hotel. Our first stay was, for us, one of the most memorable stays we've experienced. We enjoyed it so much that we came back and were engaged there the next month. Chip and his team made certain to keep it a surprise. A hidden bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, a roaring fire in the fire pit... We're coming back again in the spring and Overlook Farm will be hosting our wedding ceremony and reception. I really can't say enough about the level of excellence set by Overlook Farm. Nathalie, Chip, their staff, the attentive service and the accommodations are all top notch. The Chef at The Station Restaurant has created one of the finest menus and they provide really incredible service. This is our most favorite get away place and we will come back again and again. I urge you to visit and you'll feel the same way.”

“I didn't know about this beautiful place until my fiance at the time took me there for a Christmas surprise. Our weekend stay was romantic, relaxing and memorable. The staff was so kind and helpful. After such a wonderful experience, we decided this was a perfect place for our wedding. Perfect isn't even the word to describe it. Cedarcrest Manor and the restaurant are both warm and inviting places. We will continue to come back every year for our anniversary!!!”
