“We came to Pontiac for a car show and drove our classic car. Sharon was so kind to allow us to park in her garage. We had a lovely room, very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent and exactly what we requested. It was lovely at the end of breakfast the hostess sat and visited with us. A very nice mix of privacy and hospitality.”

“We started our Route 66 with 2 nights at the Three Roses and couldn’t have chosen a better place. We were in Jennifer’s room which is just delightful and at the back of the house so you get that little bit of extra peace & quiet although I have to say the main road is not that busy so there isn’t much noise anywhere at all. Sharon, the innkeeper, promises that breakfast is an event and she definitely delivers on that promise! The freshly squeezed grapefruit was the nicest I’ve ever tasted and the fruit bowl was to die for; my husband was equally impressed with the cooked breakfast too. The presentation is exceptional – fresh white table linen, Royal Albert china and beautiful glasses for the juice. We ate out on the porch overlooking the gardens and Sharon joined us to share her extensive knowledge of Pontiac which was really helpful. She is such a lovely lady but the real star of the show is Mitzi, her beautiful little Yorkie! Such a cute little dog, we wanted to take her on our road trip with us. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here and if we’re ever in Pontiac again we’ll definitely be booking in.”

“Our children purchased a one night stay for us at the Three Roses Bed and Breakfast. We were in the area to attend a contemporary Christian concert. We have stayed in many B & B's in the Northwest lower peninsula of Michigan and have had wonderful experience. Our negative prejudice was, "what could be that interesting in Pontiac, IL." Well, were we surprised. This is the heart of the famous Route 66 Highway in IL. There are unique museums in Pontiac that will warrant us going back there again in order to spend more time to check out the historical memorabilia. Most unique was our stay at the Three Roses Bed and Breakfast. The host, Sharon Hansen, dished out to us a special "down home" style of hospitality. The facility is well kept and Sharon's open transparency made our stay one of learning about the area and affording us the opportunity to connect interpersonally. The whole experience was refreshing. Another unique feature of the inn is the flexibility for breakfast times and variety of breakfast options. Most B & B's have a set eating time and a set menu. We were so overtaken with the breakfast we had that we had to purchase Sharon's personal cookbook. We had a great time!!!!”
