Reviews

“We found Highlands Haven years ago when we decided to get away for the weekend so we can could spend Thanksgiving as a couple before we celebrated with our familes. We had the most romatic and relaxing time and are forever fans of HH. We live only 20 minutes away and feel we are in a true mountain retreat when we go and wihtout the traffic.”

“Our two favorite inns in the world are Hiiragiya Ryokan in Kyoto and Highland Haven in Evergreen. Highland Haven has been like a second family to us for the past two years. This is a well run establishment with a young and attractive staff, owned and operated by expert professionals yet it retains a welcoming, homey feel. On our second stay my son complimented Roxy on the chocolate filled croissants. On every sunsequent stay they always had a plate of the delicious pastries set aside for him. All the rooms & suites are beatifully decorated in keeping with the magnificient setting. Blake ensures that all your needs are met and Gale has the keen eye and senses of a curator. There are delightful and intersting surprises everywhere you look. The rooms are very private and very romantic, many with fireplaces and whirpools. Every room has a guest book filled with happy and appreciative notes from honeymooners, young families and seasoned couples.”

“We are frequent guests at the Highland Haven. Although we recommmend it to anyone we can, we like to think of it as our Paradiso Secreto (Secret Paradise). We are avid travellers and in some cases we have travelled halfway around the world only to be disappointed becasue we did not enjoy it as much as the Haven!!! Carla & Mike Parker Colorado”
