Circa 1880. If you enjoy a getaway that allows you to walk to points of interest, the Carriage House should be your choice. It's Greek Revival architecture with a wraparound porch is an enticement to stay a week and feel as if you always lived in this beautiful historic treasure. Your hosts will make arrangements for a variety of activities such as a carriage ride through town, theater tickets, picnics by the river and heritage walking tours. Jefferson always has interesting community events along with its scenic dark piney woods, spring and fall color, and the new wildlife refuge.Location: Country and Downtown.
