The historical buildings have been renovated beautifully, the bedding is top-grade, the gardens and stone walls lend a romantic elegance to the grounds and the menu is varied and original. Located near the historic seaport town of Mystic, CT, there is an abundance of things to do, if you really want to stray from this elegant and relaxing environment. It was the site of a 3-day family celebration of my 80th birthday, culminating in a party for 60 plus guests. Everything was handled with ease and grace. I would recommend it highly.”
