Reviews

“We've stayed at many, many B&Bs. This is by far the best!”

“Our host was gracious and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. We were amazed by the number of species of birds that abounded. Bluebirds were everywhere. A nature lover's paradise.”
— Ellen Bertel

“During the month of December 2010 we drove from New Jersey to Louisiana and on to Arizona to visit friends and family. We decided to stay for a couple of nights at the Caledonia Farm 1812 Bed and Breakfast Inn. This would provide us with an opportunity to see and experience the local area, including the various caverns. We did not regret our decision thanks to Phil Irwin, the Inn’s proprietor who made our stay a true experience. The BB was well kept and provided a 1800’s ambiance. The breakfast had a special touch with a rustic setting, providing a beautiful view of Virginia's pastures and rolling hills. Phil has a wealth of knowledge and cheerfully shared this with us while providing some unexpected but pleasant surprises. We were reluctant to leave early and continue our trip using country roads. With the moon still shining on the snow covered fields we looked back on a highly recommended Caledonia Farm 1812.”
