Circa 1820. An oak grove and 400 acres of grounds surround Oak Grove Plantation. Built by Virginia legislator Thomas Easley more than 170 years ago, this bed & breakfast is still owned by his descendants. The Blue Room features a four-poster bed that was handmade for the innkeeper for her seventh birthday. The inn is filled with family antiques and old family photos. The inn is located within an hour's drive to Appomattox, and Prestwood Plantation, one of the largest plantation houses in Virginia built after the Revolutionary War and Staunton River Battlefield Park and Museum, are about 30 minutes away.
