Thanks to a referral from a couple of local antique dealers, we discovered this well-appointed and very romantic inn -- our 2 person corner Jacuzzi was located in our bedroom, facing a gas Fireplace. We also had a balcony which opened from our suite via 2 lace-trimmed French Doors. Friendly staff delivered our Breakfast Tray promptly the next morning (its comp) and the coffee tasted as good as it smelled! Convenient in-village location was exceeded only for the warm and friendly hosts and inn staff. A definite must-stay for the discerning traveller”

“Out of all the rooms and suites available, (thanks for the choice Ana!) we chose the "Blue Bay Window Room". Delightful! We've been coming to New Hope several years and this is the best lodging experience we've ever had. This friendly innkeeper was very knowledgeable too. The room had several nice touches, like chocolates, a carafe of amaretto, two types of soaps, etc. Original photos and art from New Hope folks graced the handpainted and stenciled walls. All the staff at the inn were warm and friendly. Breakfast was available from 8 am to 10 am, (very much appreciated!) and i got my early coffee at 6 am, when i met 'Sarge' opening up the kitchen. We were served breakfast on the back porch off the Dining Room; a rare warm morning in late November! Ask for the "F" Room.”

“We arrived as weary travellers and left 3 days later as friends. Dinie and her staff are consummate professionals; warm and inviting yet unobstrusive. Available yet discrete. All food served here is baked from scratch on site: linger over coffee ( available all day) and you can smell the egg dishes, the cookies and the delectable breads being baked. And the accommodations are top notch too. Clean, clean clean and fine details throughout - from loads of fluffy pillows to thicks towels and cotton bathrobes. however all pale to the genuine care Nadine and Carl have for their guests.”

“In-town yet a bit apart, these well-kept acreage included two gazebos surrounded by well tended flowering gardens, brick walkways and tall, tall shade trees. These captivating grounds can also be viewed from the victorian Back Porch or the three-sided wraparound verandah. The Inn itself was also well-appointed and very clean. Tall windows, gleaming hardwood floors and lofty ceilings, original woodwork and moldings; just what i hoped for. Foor service; everything served at this lovely inn is made from scratch by Nadine and her able staff. Scones, egg fritatas, muffins, cookies, strawberry bread; the smells emenating from the kitchen were non-stop. Only the staff's smiling faces and hospitality exceeded these fine attributes.”

“Please do not book to stay at this Inn without 100% certainty that you will be able to stay when reserved. We booked our reservation in August to stay in November and was automatically charged the first nights stay. Unfortunately, my mother became deathly ill and was on life support for 5 days. As I sat vigil in the hospital, I contacted Nadine to let her know the situation. Here is the quoted response: " effective "midweek, non-holiday" only; 10 daYS NOTICE of any change a must. No refunds granted.By email only.Nadine and Carl, props." My husband and I are not able to take a 2 day getaway midweek, non-holiday. Giving the extenuating circumstances, I would have certainly thought there would not be an issue to reschedule. We did not book on a whim NOR could we have ever thought this situation with my mother would occur. At this point, we are out the $200 deposit and feel it is best to take the loss than to stay and patronize a place that is so cold and ruthless. There was no sensitivity or compassion to the matter. New Hope is a beautiful area and there are other Inns who offer far better customer service.”

“Stopped in to ask about a room and received a tour and offer of warm cider and snacks. I was fortunate enough to book their last remaining room. The Innkeepers and staff were extremely warm and welcoming. They provided a great deal of information about restaurants and entertainment, enabling me to have a fabulous dinner, take in a play historic in recently renovated Bucks County Theatre and end the evening listening to jazz. Next morning, I awoke and had an amazing breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, oatmeal, etc. A Sunday New York Times was available with plenty of hot coffee and fresh juice. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.. I have stayed in many B and B's and this one stands out. You will be treated more like family than a guest. “We slept great at your inn! Well-appointed guest room and very comfy: extra pillows, a beautiful comforter, great mattress. We arrived from NYC on the Express bus from the Port Authority -- 90 minutes yet 9,000 light years from the hectic city, We found New Hope and Lambrtville (NJ) to be open, accepting, cosmopolitan towns. And Aaron Burr sits a block up the hill, so there is no need to rent a car. (Uber is here too) We strolled the art galleries, boutiques and antique co-ops, kiked the canal path and even took the Steam Train ride; a 60 minute RT thru the countryside. We heard the faint steam whistle from the inns front steps! The inn has a great in-town location on a roomy-corner lot surrounded by tall, ancient shade trees. Carrie, our breakfast hostess, was very informative and particularly knowledgeable about antiquing in the area. She referred us to Karl's Rest for its music and Monday night "Locals Menu" and to the Dubliner afterwards for authentic Irish music. The Tuesday morning to Rice's Market and Tuesday night to a Piano Bar at Bowman's Tavern Restaurant. We felt like locals! We only live 10 miles away, and we were thrilled to find you were open and even better; had power plus a backup Generator too! This was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and we'll definitely be back! The large room was very clean and tidy and the king bed was comfortable. We were able to leave our car in the on-site paved lot and walk to everything in New Hope and even to Lambertville. We slept in Sunday morning and didn't make it to breakfast. Monday we were able to enjoy the multi-course hot breakfast and were very impressed eith the selection and freshness of everything offered. Thank you for having such a wonderful gem.”

“Wedgewood is the most romantic place to get snowed inn. From under our queen-sized Lace canopied bed we could see our fireplace and the gentle snowfall happening too. Our breakfast in bed the next morning (my partner surprised me) was a decadent delicious delight. “We stumbled upon New Hope, PA while attending a wedding in New Port, RI. 4500 miles from our home in Portland, strangers said try the Wedgewood. if you like Newport, you'll love New Hope. and we did and we do! A hidden gem, our hotel stay has been an amazing 5 day experience. Can't say enough about the comfort, casual sophistication, superb food and its cleanliness. We took in the Piano Bar Monday night, Rice's Market on tuesday morning and the Golden Nugget antique Market on Wednesday and Singer-Songwriter Night at Karla's Thursday evening. and shopped the galleries and small independent shops in historic New Hope and Lambertville. We always enjoyed returning to the comfort of our room and enjoyed the homemade liquor on our private porch.”

“With everything that is going on around our great country it is nice to find a little get away place to just relax. The Wedgwood Inn is a perfect little spot and we stayed in the carriage house. An adorable little cottage with a pleasant living room, lovely deck and walk out porch and bedroom upstairs. The weather was perfect and we opened the two doors upstairs and listened to the birds and nature. I was so peaceful and enjoyable. The breakfast was very tasty from the fresh fruit and quiche to the delicious muffins. Couldn't have been nicer or more taken care of. Fun, friendly people and we will go back.”

“We stayed here a few nights in early November to hike and bike in New Hope and its covered bridges outside of town. We were delighted Bucks County for our autumn getaway. And we were even more excited with our discovery of Wedgewood Inn bed and breakfast. The friendly staff and cordial innkeepers were very helpful with recommendations for biking and dining. After a full day out and about, we enjoyed walking into New Hope -- and there are 20 plus fine restaurants to choose from! One evening we had curbside pick-up and dined in the Wedgewood's Victorian gazebo. Their 3 course breakfasts got us off to an early start each morning. I especially liked the large selection of tea available. And the egg dishes ( different each morning) were delicious. We always felt very comfortable here as well as COVID safe. Staff always wore masks, and all Guests too. Hand sanitizer is located by the front door to be used upon entering the building. Dinnie and her staff are constantly wiping down the doorknobs and railings, etc. We had breakfast in our room, then out on the Back Porch and on the last morning, we took our breakfast in the glass enclosed Side Porch. Waitress service was always smooth and professional, safe and each breakfast course was made-from-scratch delicious!”

“This is the ONLY B&B for us in New Hope, PA. Since our firt visit in 1998 to celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary . week This has been our ONLY Bed and Breakfast Inn for us in New Hope, PA since our first visit in 1996. We just celebrated our wedding anniversary here last week in 2021 (25 years coming to the Wedgwood Inn!). Accommodations are charming, comfortable and very clean! Some are luxurious too with oversized jacuzzi tubs. All have a fireplace. The grounds are attractive, well-kept and wrought iron tables and chairs are spread throughout its two acres. We felt very Covid safe here! The entire environment is very peaceful. The hosts and staff are warm, welcoming, helpful , accessible 0and always professional. They always make us (and all their guests, feel special. Highly recommend.”

“Set on a few acres of lush green lawns, colorful flower gardens and hanging baskets, plus mature shade trees, grounds at Wedgewood are a quiet oasis from the vibrant river community of New Hope. Only the songbirds and occasional windchime and the distant toot of the steam train can be heard. We were here in the summer for 4 days, and took full advantage of sitting in the Victorian Gazebo , on the Back Porch and laying in the two person hammock. We "stole a kiss" each day in the pedestrian Covered Bridge too. The inn itself is a warm and friendly spot. Our king size bed was very comfortable and the well appointed room was clean and well maintained. The soul of this inn tho, is its longtime owners and the high quality staff they attract. “/new Hope , PA offers an ideal river town escape from NYC; small yet cosmopolitan with lots of fine dining and evening entertainmemnt. And the Wedgwood is thee place to stay overnight. The gorgeous historic inn has all the amenities we wanted: a King size bed, a private balcony, fireplace and an in-room jacuzzi tub. Of course it had a flat screen tv and great wifi too. Breakfast in bed was the best! One morning we took breakfast in the plant-filled private, all glass Florida Room. with only one table, we had a romantic breakfast -for-two while watching a peaceful snow shower.”

“We only had 4 days for our Honeymoon, and selected Wedgewood Inn. New Hope and Wedgewood Inn were our perfect small town escape and only an hour drive from Philadelphia. We got a warm week in February and enjoyed the robins chirping and the early bulbs popping up in the back gardens. We waked everyday through the New Hope Historic District (PA) and across the old iron bridge into Lambertville too (NJ) Loved the authentic hospitality of Dinie and all the staff. The breakfasts were plentiful and they happily accommodated my Gluten-Free dietary restrictions. We plan on returning to see a show at the Bucks County Playhouse this summer, and return every year on our February anniversaries too!”

Set on a lovely parcel of land just off Main Street, it is in theNew Hope historic district with its own onsite parking -- a real plus.
