“My wife and I have stayed at Donna's 3 times now and let me tell you words cannot describe how hard the staff will work to make sure you have an unbelievable experience. Highly recommend the Cedar Cabins and you have to treat yourself to the country breakfast delivered to your door. This is phenomenal...Plenty of shopping, tours and other things to do or you can just relax, enjoy your cabin and some quiet time. If you want to learn about the Amish family and culture visit Yoder's Amish Home and take the tour; it is well worth checking out. But again, I cannot say enough about Donna and her staff, they are outstanding and if you are looking for a fantastic getaway then they get my highest recommendation. And by the way; we have our anniversary trip booked for this year!!”

“Plan a get-a-way for a evening or several. Donna's Premier is the "only" place to stay. We stayed at the Villas. We liked the 2 level floor plan. On the main floor is a small kitchen with dining table.A nice couch, fireplace, TV and rest room with shower, are also on this floor. The steps up to the second level help add to the anticipation. You first see the relaxing jetted tub for two, (Caution: the bubble bath oil can get a little slippery.) At the end of the room is a comfy King size bed. A chest of drawers and another TV are also there. Donna's is the place to say I Love You, especially for those of us who don't say it as much as we once did. Before booking, a staffer took me to other secluded properties, we took our shoes off, a had a quick viewing, all offer something special. Whichever one you choose I know you will be satisfied. Stores close early in Berlin and the surrounding Amish area. Hit the shopping early and then enjoy the company of each other. The staff is great and will suggest places, I suggest driving around the off the main street. GPS may not work that great here. Be adventurous.”

“I planned a surprise getaway for my husband and I, with Amish country in mind. I researched several rentals, but I am SO happy I chose Donna's. He was surprised when we started driving through the beautiful countryside, then the quaint main street of Berlin, but he was nearly moved to tears when we entered our beautiful cedar log cabin, as was I. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay! I added on a few extras, that were well worth the cost. (Enchanted evening board game, romantic basket, and a hot delicious breakfast delivered to our door in the morning.) The staff was so friendly and welcoming, the office and our cabin immaculate and well kept, and the giant bed was SO comfortable, with highest quality linens. They spare no expense at making this a true luxury stay. I mentioned to my husband that the only thing missing was a fresh snowfall, and by sheer luck, we woke up in the morning to the first snowfall of the season, making this place all the more magical. I really can't talk enough about this place! We are excited to return here in the future, and recommend it to any and every one!”

“What a nice cozy place to relax after the hustle and bustle of wedding planning and the wedding day frenzies! The cottage was very quiet, comfortable and clean! In the midst of the friendly township of the Amish Country, the Fall foliage was extraordinary. The couples massage was to die for and the friendly and courteous service of the staff made us feel right at home. To top things off, I had the pleasure of meeting Donna, the owner of this beautiful estate! I loved her pleasant and down to earth personality. She certainly made us feel welcomed! “My Fiancee and i stayed here for a few days in June and it was our first time being able to spend time alone and get away from all the headache of wedding planning, we rented ceder cabin 6 and we were NOT disappointed the pictures dont fully describe how amazing it is. Our cabin had a pool table in it and we both love to play pool so we spent most of our time inside playing we also took advantage of some of the extra amenities Donna's offers like couples massage, chocolate covered strawberries, and rose petals, Now while these were an added cost it is well worth the money. The town surrounding Donna's is nice, great shops and the people are friendly. There is a lot to see and do from visiting Breitenbach Wine Cellars, to visiting Guggisburg cheese factory. the scenery is amazing there. Donnas Premier Lodging is as good as it gets we WILL be back!!”

“Stayed in a chalet. It was cozy, peaceful, and romantic. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast, which was brought in a basket to our door, was also pretty tasty. The Spring Celebration package also included a delicious bottle of dandelion wine made by a local winery. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be staying here again in the near future.”

“My girlfriend and I stayed in a villa for the weekend and it was fantastic. The villas are roomy with a full size couch, fireplace, kitchen, dinner table, large bathroom, heart shaped jacuzzi, king size bed, 2 TV's with free rent-able movies, air conditioning, a balcony and surround sound stereo with iPod dock. They even left cookies and fresh fruit on the table at no extra charge. They also offer breakfast delivered to your door for a small fee. All the shops downtown are within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again! Highly recommended!”

“This was our third time at Donna's. We were celebrating my 40th birthday and I could not think of a better place to start my birthday. It was wonderful..as expected. “My husband and I shared a relaxing getaway weekend in Chalet #1.The kitchen area had everything we needed, as well as coffee, popcorn and a plate of cookies and fruit. The large Jacuzzi tub was in the windowed corner. The huge bed was soft but comfortable. Gas fireplaces in the main room and basement rec area worked easily with a remote control. We had fun playing pool. Everything in the Chalet was impressively clean and well maintained. We had breakfast delivered (hot and on schedule) both mornings. This was an extra $10 each but worth it to us. I wish there had been better light for reading- there are bedside lamps- but nothing next to the sofa. Several inches of snow fell during the night but the plow truck came around then salted/sanded the steep driveway and we got out just fine.”

“My wife and I love Donnas’. We stay here at least once or twice a yr. They offer several accommodations. The Cedar Cabins are larger and roomier. They have a full kitchen and a large bedroom. The Chalets are smaller and are basically one big room. There is a basement with a pool table. They only have a microwave and a very small fridge. All accommodations have gas fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. The bathrooms are equipped with soft towels, they are very clean and there’s lots of hot water. The Beds are large and comfortable. They supply all kitchen utensils you would need (even a Wine Opener). My wife and I prefer the Chalets. They just feel more cozier. I prefer chalet #2 simply because you can park the car right at it where chalet #1’s parking space is across the private road (not very far away). When we don’t go out to eat at one of the fine Amish restaurants my wife pre makes meals that we just heat up in the microwave. We like the location near downtown Berlin and all the shops. All the Amish attractions are close by. They offer complimentary breakfast items during your stay but you have to go to the office to eat. For an extra bump they offer a breakfast meal for delivery. They offer several extra’s but we never purchased any of them. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway in Amish country this is the place for you.”

“My wife and I were married at Donna's two years ago. All I can say is AMAZING. The cabin was decorated beautifully. The wedding flowers were in the fridge, rose pedals and towels formed like swans kissing were on the bed.. They had a place just steps away for her to get her hair done the morning of the wedding. Marv & Lorie Troyer did all the photography and did an exceptional job. The preacher who we did not know did a story and passage of scripture we had just studied weeks earlier in small group :) We could not have asked for a better day for us to start our lives out together. Thank You Donna's and ALL who were involved !!!”

My husband is on oxygen and he stayed on the coach b/c it was closer to the bathroom in the middle of the night b/c the cabins were full but would love to get a cabin next time around! “We got married 9 years ago. We stayed in one of Donna's Cedar Cabins. Like anyone that has had that pleasure, the first thing you'll notice, is how clean everything is. High quality throughout. No detail missing. A funny memory we still laugh about is me trying to get a romantic picture of us newlyweds in the heart shaped Jacuzzi. I lit candles and placed them all around. We filled it up with bubbles and got our wine glasses ready. I set up the tripod, hit the timer and hurried to my spot by my new wife. We waited, and waited, an nothing happened. I wiped off the bubbles from wet body climbed out to try again. After 3 or 4 times we finally got our picture! LOL! We've been back to the stay in the Villas, the Chalet and the Cabins 2 or 3 times. Can't wait to get back there soon. We have points saved up for a free night and our kids recently gave us a gift certificate for a free night. Won't be long til our next escape from the hustle and bustle from our busy lives.”
