Reviews

“Just a note of appreciation for all your generous hospitality, and wonderful display of attention and affection!”

“I recently took part in a week long art workshop at the Greenville Arms. It is a lovely inn with an incredible staff. My main complaint is the food. It was (with just a couple of exceptions) pretty awful. There were no choices given - just one entree available, so if you didn't eat lamb you were out of luck. What was prepared was pretty tasteless and not particularly appealing on a visual level. While the chef boasted about having attended the CIA, I have my doubts (perhaps it was for dinner). Breakfast was typical fare and acceptable other than the fact that dried blueberries were put in pancakes when there was a huge bowl of fresh ones right there on the sideboard... Perhaps I am picky, but I expected a better food experience. In any case, it is a lovely place, and the owners and staff were very nice. The workshop was TERRIFIC. Loved every moment. I would stay here again, but only if I could omit the evening meals. I'd rather go to local restaurants for those.”
