Circa 1792. This picturesque patch of farmland was settled by the Merrill family, some of the area's earliest settlers. The 200-year-old farmhouse is decorated in a rustic, period style with antiques and country furnishings. All but two of the guest rooms include small refrigerators that are stocked daily with complimentary sodas. Despite the 18th-century ambiance, some accommodations include whirlpool tubs. There's plenty to do at the inn. Canoeing, volleyball, badminton, ice skating and sledding are some of the options. There also is an outdoor pool, sauna and hot tubs on the premises.
